Get a data browser capable of exploring a large variety of
content types and formats. Derby could be compared to most
file managers made available with your operating systems
but is not limited to the manipulation and the display of
files. Most modern file managers propose to visit “on the
fly” the content of compressed files. Derby does the same
but also for many other file types such as XML, HDF,
NetCDF, JPEG, PNG, etc. More than a thousand are already
available according to the selected configuration, and
this, within the same application with the same ergonomics
and up to the lowest level of the visited file structure.
